What is a Philadelphia Public Schools’ People’s Facilities Plan?
Vision Statement
Schools in Philadelphia will be nurturing and healthy spaces for students to learn, grow and play. With investment in educational environments, schools will foster an excitement for learning in state of the art studios, outdoor classrooms, and contemporary libraries. Children and their parents will be true partners. They will feel connected and valued in their school communities. The school will act as a piece of public infrastructure and adapt to the ever-changing needs of its’ surrounding neighborhood.
